The Gallatin Conservation District is now open to the public! Staff will, for the most part, be in the office during our core office hours. 9am-3pm, Monday-Friday.
Due to the Statewide Mask Mandate, we will need to require anyone entering our offices to please wear a mask. We are also still following the CDC’s recommendations and practicing appropriate social distancing. You may stop in to the office, but please continue to utilize phone calls and/or email as much as possible.
Please send any 310 correspondence to Becky Clements (District Administrator) at firstname.lastname@example.org. Sarah Bowman (Natural Resource Specialist) can be reached at email@example.com. Phone: 406-282-4350.
Please stay well and be safe.
What We Do
“To promote and guide the conservation and management of natural resources in Gallatin County.”
Any person, agency, contractor, or firm that is proposing a project that may alter or modify the beds or banks of a perennial stream, river, or spring, must first obtain a 310 permit. If you are planning to work in or near a stream, you must get a 310 permit first. It’s Free. It’s the Law.
